Latest News:  ONEPLUS 9

OnePlus might now be in trouble as someone found out that the OnePlus 9 and 9 Pro limit the performance on several popular apps. Along with that, benchmarking platform Geekbench has also delisted the devices as it considers the action as a performance manipulation in its books. 

The OnePlus Nord 2 that is said to come after the Nord CE might now have a launch date. According to the latest rumour, the OnePlus Nord successor could be arriving on 9 July. The information comes from a reputable tech media site called GSMArena.

A few days ago, OnePlus Malaysia had unveiled the OnePlus 9 series which are the OnePlus 9 and OnePlus 9 Pro. Here's the OnePlus 9 unboxing video and you may find out the details of it.

Today, OnePlus Malaysia finally confirmed the price tags and availability. If you're a OnePlus fan, you should already know that the prices got "leaked" yesterday for the  OnePlus 9 5G and OnePlus 9 Pro 5G at RM3699 and RM4299 respectively which turns out to be the case. To refresh your memory, the OnePlus 9 series was revealed back in late March this year. There was no word on when it would arrive in Malaysia but looks like we got our first clue. OnePlus Malaysia just posted a teaser hinting that the OnePlus 9 series would be announced on 11 May 2021. an official date for the launch - 17 May 2021 in Malaysia. 

The OnePlus 9 series has finally been revealed and true enough, not only did OnePlus unveiled the OnePlus 9 5G, 9 Pro 5G but as well as the rumoured OnePlus 9R for the Indian market. We will be focusing on the first two devices first and save the 9R variant for another article (click here to read). So read on below at the official tech specs and prices.

The OnePlus 9 series will be unveiled soon and if there's one thing that's quite interesting, it seems that the China variant will come with ColorOS 11. This was confirmed by the CEO himself, Pete Lau on his Weibo account.

With the OnePlus 9 series launching this week, it's no wonder we're seeing leaks every day. We've even seen official renders of the standard and Pro variant, as well as details of a third variant. But now sources claim that the latter could be region-exclusive.

Although OnePlus has shared some of the images of the upcoming OnePlus 9 series before the launch, we know that there is still something that the brand is keeping from us. Today, some spoilers have appeared revealing that the OnePlus 9 and 9 Pro are going to feature two colours each.

The OnePlus 9 series will be unveiled pretty soon and it's not just only the OnePlus 9 and 9 Pro that are coming out. Apparently, there is a special and more affordable OnePlus 9R 5G coming soon as well but only for the Indian market.
